We have left Maryland and headed to Delaware were we have seen turtle crossing signs and lots and lots of beaches. We pulled over to a beach access to take some pictures but was told that we must hurry and beware of park rangers. We then took the Lewes Cape May Ferry to head into Jersey. We got very lucky and was the very last car to board the boat. We saw several lighthouses and told that we may see some Dolphins, which was a lie. While on the boat we took on some seagulls flying inches from our head and decided to run in and play games on a computer machine with a guy passed out across of us…we eventually scared him away.
We bought hats since we felt nasty and I decided to wear my hat to the side which lead me to be called a Changster…aka a Chinese ganster…we then saw a family fun center that in reality looked like a sketchy trucker lot…good thing Kayla doesn’t like putt putt.
We then went to Wildwood Boardwalk were we saw a beach packed to the max of people all shapes and sizes…quiet a site for sore eyes. The beach was nice but crazy hot sand…while we were leaving the beach we saw a lifeguard jump from his post and run across the beach, but could never figure out what was going on. We then decided to walk around on the boardwalk. We went to the hot spot restaurant were nobody even knew how to speak English…they didn’t even know what French Fries were and one pranced around like she was Miss America. We then ventured down the board walk and posed with a few of the lovely shirts for sale. We then stopped at the next place and got some chipsticks…which are world famous one of the kind supposedly, they were pretty good but the seagulls loved them a lot more than us. Kayla dropped a piece the birds attacked. We then stopped at our photo booth, and Kayla asked where she could get change with a blinking change sign above of her. Then we got the change and paid for the pictures which came out to be red rather than colored liked we thought.
We then headed to Atlantic City, outlet shops everywhere, casinos, and their very own boardwalk as well. We went to book our hotel but found that online was cheaper than at the desk so we went upstairs to use their computer and a lady was very rude to us because she talked about how she could only get 60 minutes so we used our handy dandy iPhone, which have saved us numerous times this trip.
After each taking long showers we headed to the boardwalk, where I almost got ran over by people pushing carts down the boardwalk. We walked up and down the strip to find a bunch of beach bars and lots and lots of food options. We then ventured into the Bally’s casino and enjoyed Coyotte Kates Wild Wild West Show and I lost 5 on slots. We found a beer pong area and a bull riding, but we didn’t venture to try, since we watched how awesome the 24 hour happy hour was $2 beers and $2 shots can make some people do some crazy things! We then went back to the hotel were Kayla proceeded to go get ice in room 933 which the bell hop or to Kayla the bus boy told us. And we called it a night, since we were both so beat!
